It is always joyfull to keep on adding awards on the pedigrees of your dogs. i dont want to soung greedy but sometimes when receiving an award gives you such a bitter taste if the awarding judge knows very little about the breed. I am in this game for quite long tome now and i do know that some judges may like or dislike certain things on a dog (i.e. prefer the solid browns against the white, or dislike the blacks, or pay too much attention on the presentation etc) BUT... whatever the preference of the judge in the color of a dog, the presentation etc the judgement should be made in accordance to the official standard of the breed. It is silly to see a dog with eliminating faults to win BOB. it is bad for the future of the breed. This discussion should be made in a forum where the FCI judges could read it and correct certain mistakes or at least be more efficient with their judgement but due to the absence of such a forum i post this comments in my web site with a hope that some judges may read this... hopefully one day.
