Obelix is the ideal German Shorthaired Pointer both working and conformation wise. He is the son of the Eurosieger Ungaro vom Hege Haus and the great CH Uche z Czarnego Dworu (European Junior Winner) of the famous kennel of Wojciech Burski - Czarnego Dworu. But besides a fully loaded and decorated with many awards pedigree he is above all a great working dog with several Field Trial awards, including some 1st class prizes.

He is an efficient, fast and stylish hunter, nonetheless he has an extremely gentle temperament. He works quail, woodcock, grouse, partridge, pheasant and loves the hunting of furred game. We were astounded by his passion for retrieving which was beyond any expectation. It is hard to loose with him any shot game as he wants nothing better than to make his handler happy.

But Obelix is not just a perfect working dog. Even from the very young age of 2 months old it was easy for us to foresee that this puppy would grow to be a top show dog. And he proved this with his dozens of titles and awards in shows which are hard to be matched by any ordinary dog. He is the perfect specimen of this remarkable breed.
